Ms. J.L.R. Jayalath

Ms. Lakshmi Jayalath is a senior lecturer at the Department of Allied Health Sciences, University of Colombo. She is a SEDA accredited teacher in higher education teaching multiple subjects to Physiotherapy undergraduate students. Ms. Jayalath is the chairperson of the Applied Physiotherapy Stream of the BSc Physiotherapy undergraduate curriculum and the secretary of Research and Higher Degrees Committee, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.  She was a past alumni of La Trobe University, Australia.

Ms Jayalath has special interests in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation in both patient management and research.
