- Final Year Research project: <\/em><\/strong>Analysis of the association between papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) and chronic autoimmune thyroiditis by studying the mutations in BRAF and NRAS genes by PCR-RFLP and also measuring the level of expression of TSHR (thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor), MnSOD (manganese superoxide dismutase) and c-RET (a receptor tyrosine kinase) cDNA by realtime PCR in suspicious areas for PTC of thyroid tissue samples from patients with Hashimoto\u2019s thyroiditis.
