Pramoda pursued her Master of Laws degree in International Commercial Law at the University of Exeter, United Kingdom where she was a Commonwealth scholar (2021\/22). She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with first-class honours from the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo.
