She holds a Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery [BUMS (Hons)] from the University of Colombo and earned her MD in Unani Pharmacology (Ilmul Advia) from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India, where she was recognized as the Topper in the MD (Ilmul Advia) Examination in 2021. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Experimental Biotechnology from the Postgraduate Institute of Science at the University of Peradeniya.
\nCurrently, she is pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo, and a Diploma in Cosmetic Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Her academic interests include Unani pharmacology, traditional medicine, natural product research, herbal cosmetics, and the standardization of conventional medicine.
\nDr. Jamaldeen has undergone extensive training in both teaching and research. She completed the Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE) offered by the Staff Development Centre at the University of Colombo and was awarded the SEDA certification. She has also received formal training in research methodology from the Ministry of Health. She has actively participated in national and international workshops on pharmacovigilance, abstract writing, natural product chemistry, and mental well-being.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″]
