She studied at Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo and entered the Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo in May 2005 as an undergraduate.<br \/>\nShe worked as a Demonstrator in the Department of Basic Principles from 2014-2015.<br \/>\nShe has successfully completed MaTE course (Making Teaching Effective course) in 2015 and CTHE (Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education) in 2017-2018 in Staff Development Centre and obtained CEDA accreditation. She joined the Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo in October 2016 as a Lecturer (Probationary).<br \/>\nShe entered to Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (Institute of National Importance), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India in 2018 and continuing her Postgraduate studies as a M.S. (Ayu.)
