BIOGRAPHY

Dr. BSMM Sooriyaarachchi is a Lecturer (Probationary), at the Department of Allied Sciences, Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo since 2016. She studied at Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo and entered the Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo in May 2005 as an undergraduate.
She worked as a Demonstrator in the Department of Basic Principles from 2014-2015.
She has successfully completed MaTE course (Making Teaching Effective course) in 2015 and CTHE (Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education) in 2017-2018 in Staff Development Centre and obtained CEDA accreditation. She joined the Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo in October 2016 as a Lecturer (Probationary).
She entered to Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (Institute of National Importance), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India in 2018 and continuing her Postgraduate studies as a M.S. (Ayu.) Schloar in Shalakya Department.
