Her professional career commenced in 2014 as an Assistant Librarian on a contract basis at Uva Wellassa University, where she served for two years and nine months. In April 2017, she joined the University of Colombo as an Assistant Librarian and was promoted to Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade II) in April 2022.<\/p>\n
Ms. Johoran holds a Master\u2019s degree in Library and Information Science from the National Institute of Library and Information Sciences (NILIS). Her research interests primarily focus on library marketing, particularly strategies to enhance the visibility, promotion, and effective delivery of library services within academic environments.<\/p>\n
She is a professional member of the University Librarians Association of Sri Lanka (ULA) and the Sri Lanka Library Association (SLLA). In recognition of her research contributions, she received the University of Colombo Senate Award for Research Excellence in the Early Career Category in both 2021 and 2023.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″]
