PKS Manatunga, currently serves as a Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade II) at the Main Library, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n
Mrs.\u00a0 Manatunga graduated from the University of Colombo with a first Class for BSc Special Degree in Plant Biotechnology and obtained Sir Nigel Ball Award for Botany in the year 2004.\u00a0 In 2013, she obtained a Masters in Information Systems Management from the University of Colombo. She joined the Library University of Colombo in 2006 as an Assistant Librarian and promoted to Senior Assistant Librarian Grade11 in 2013. Her research interests are in the areas of Information\u00a0Behaviour, Information Literacy and Knowledge Management.<\/p>\n
She\u00a0 serves as a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo and was a Co-coordinator of the \u00a0Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems Management Programme in year 2015\/2016 & 2016\/2017. At the moment she was appointed as the Temporary Student Counselor of the Main Library(2018-2020).<\/p>\n
