Dananja Wanninayake graduated from the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo in 2009 in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a First-Class Honours. She obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Merit from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2013 and obtained her PhD from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia in 2020.<\/p>\n
Dananja Wanninayake is currently a Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of Human Resources Management, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo. Prior to taking up this position in 2012, Dananja was in the corporate sector attached to the Hayleys Group. She has headed and served in many Faculty level committees including the editorial committee of the International Conference on Management and Finance (IRCMF) and the editorial committee of the student handbook. Further Dananja contributed to the development of the courses namely Enterprise Based Project and Community Development Project under the Quality and Innovation Grant (QIG) of Higher Education of 21st<\/sup> Century Project (HETC) in 2013 which were added to curriculum of the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree Programme. In addition, she was the temporary student counselor for the Department in 2014-2015 and has been serving as a Personal Tutor for first year undergraduates since 2020.
