Mrs. Manojee Domingo entered the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo in year 2011 as an undergraduate and obtained First Class Honours in her Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance in year 2016. Upon completion of her first degree, she joined the Faculty initially as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer in July 2016. She then obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo in year 2020. She served as a Lecturer (probationary) since September 2018 till September 2021 and currently serving as a Senior Lecturer (Transitional) to date. She currently holds a lecturing experience of almost six plus years along with recognized teaching related qualifications such as Making Teaching Effective MaTE (2016), Certificate Course in Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE) (2022), offered by the Staff Development Center of University of Colombo and accredited by the Staff and Educational Development Association in United Kingdom. Further she is a passed finalist of CBF and DBF of Institute of Bankers Sri Lanka (IBSL) since year 2012 and CIMA (UK) since year 2017.<\/p>\n
During her tenure to date in the University of Colombo, she was appointed to various academic as well as administrative positions. She recently served as a co-secretary of Doctoral Colloquium 2021 organized by the Faculty and as an author and organizing member of the paper handling team in Emerging Financial Markets and Policy (EFMP) conference organized by the Sri Lanka Finance Association (SLFA) in year 2022. She holds several gold medals for her academic and profession qualifications as well as best paper awards for few conference publications. Moreover, she carries countable number of accepted research manuscripts online that will soon be published in Journal of Financial Counseling and planning (JFCP) that is linked with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE), under Springer publishing and included in Web of Science, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Scopus, PsycINFO, towards which she currently serves as an active reviewer since year 2022. She also serves the International Journal of Accounting and Business Finance (IJABF) as a reviewer; which is published by University of Jaffna and rated under the ABDC ranking.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, she served as a visiting lecturer and examiner in the Diploma of Human Resources Management (2017) conducted by the Human Resources Department of Faculty of Management and Finance, Diploma of Personality Development (2018) conducted by Faculty of Arts, Bachelor of Labour Education (BLE) conducted by Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA) (2020). She recently got elected as the Vice-President of the Arts council of University of Colombo in year 2022 till 2025. Also, she is a current and active member of the MBA Alumni Association of University of Colombo since year 2022. As her services towards student\u2019s wellbeing, she acted as a student counselor of the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo. Presently, she serves as a department coordinator for Industrial Training Programme in promoting the student\u2019s employability, since 2020 to date. As a mentor, she served as the co-coordinator of Student Mentoring Programme of Faculty in 2018 and as the co-faculty representative of the Academic Mentoring programme, conducted for academic staff, under the initiation by Medical faculty of University of Colombo. Going forward, she has a strong wilt to contribute Academia in the areas of Teaching, Research, and Publications as well as to help create an environment that nurtures the lives of both academics as well as students.<\/p>\n
