Dr. Jayani Athapaththu is a Senior Lecturer Grade II in the department of Management and Organization studies, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo. Prior to joining Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, she worked as a demonstrator at Department of statistics and computer science, Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya. She holds a doctoral degree from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, Masters of science degree in Management from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Bachelor of Science degree in computation & Management from University of Peradeniya.<\/p>\n
Jayani is capable of teaching both computer science and management disciplines. She teaches in the areas of Management information systems, E-business and Managing technology in the hospitality industry. She is a passionate researcher, focusing on the areas of e-commerce, e-business and sharing economy. Her research has been published in several international journals and conferences.<\/p>\n
