Professor Kaluarachchi obtained his Bachelor degree in Commerce from the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 1998 and his MBA degree from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo in 2004. Under the Monbukagakusho Japanese Government Scholarship programme, he earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business Administration from the Hosei Unversity, Tokyo, Japan in 2011. Currently he serves as a Professor in the Department of Management and Organization Studies, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo. He has also performed several administrative duties at the faculty while doing his teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels mainly for the courses Management Process and Practice, Organizational Behaviour, and Managing for Quality. Further, he has published several text books and scholarly books in the field of Business Administration locally and several research papers in Management Theory and Practices both locally and internationally.<\/p>\n
