Professor Yasantha Madurapperuma entered the University of Colombo in June 1999 as an undergraduate and continued his association with the University by joining the University as an academic after obtaining Bachelor of Commerce with Second Class (Upper division) Honours for his first degree. Professor Madurapperuma received his postgraduate qualifications: MSc in Management and Information Technology, University of Kelaniya and PhD from the Silla University \u2013 Republic of Korea. He is a Member of Sri Lanka Economic Association. He serves the University of Colombo as a Professor in the Department of Business Economics at present.<\/p>\n

During his tenure Professor Madurapperuma has served as the student counselor, Coordinator of MBA in International Business Programme, Senior treasurer of student union and editor of Colombo Business Journal and various other academic and administrative positions of the faculty.<\/p>\n

Professor Madurapperuma has been honoured with various esteemed positions and has received awards internationally for his excellence performance.<\/p>\n
