He obtained his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy with First Class Honours in 2021. Following his graduation, he worked as a sports and orthopedic physiotherapist at Kings Hospital, Colombo 05, Sri Lanka. He joined the Department of Allied Health Sciences as an Assistant Lecturer in Physiotherapy in May 2023 and was promoted to Lecturer (Probationary) in October 2023.
