He was also awarded distinctions in Clinical Medicine, Obstetrics &amp; Gynaecology, Microbiology and Biochemistry and 5 medals including Professor Rajasuriya prize in Clinical Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>He joined the Department of Surgery in 2014 as a lecturer and later obtained his MD in Surgery. During his post-MD training at Monash Children\u2019s Hospital in Australia, he worked as a registrar in Paediatric Surgery and a clinical fellow in the Department of Paediatric Urology. Since 2018, he has been working as an Honorary Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at the Lady Ridegway Hospital for Children.
