She joined the department of Physiology at Colombo Medical Faculty in 2018 as a Lecturer in Physiology and completed her Master\u2019s in Human Nutrition &amp; Post graduate certificate in Medical Education from the University of Colombo in 2019. She received the Gold medal for the Best Student of Post Graduate Institute of Medicine for PG Certificate and Diploma category for the same year. She is currently reading for her PhD in Gastrointestinal Physiology and its application in Gastro Oesophageal reflux disease.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Nilanka Wickramasinghe has so far 6 publications in peer-reviewed journals and numerous abstracts and presentations to her name.
