She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya in 1999. She obtained her Diploma in Medical Microbiology and MD in Medical Microbiology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Nilanthi Senanayake has authored several publications related to Bacteriology and Infectious Diseases.
