Under my guidance, among other activities, the SLPA made an <strong>application to the International Union of Psychological Sciences (IUpsyS) to become its national member from Sri Lanka, which was accepted.<\/strong> As a national member of the IUpsyS, the SLPA contributed to the revision of the Mental and Behavioural <\/em>Disorders section of the International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10). <em>Further, the first psychology conference of the SLPA was organized during my tenure, titled: <strong>Psychology in Contemporary Sri Lanka: Theory and Practice<\/strong><\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<h3 class=\"fac-title text-left\" style=\"color:#4b4b4b\">Membership in Professional Bodies<\/h3>\n[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2021 to date: <strong>Charted psychologist<\/strong> &#8211;
