Professor Gnanaselvam Kisokanth entered the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in August 2005 as an undergraduate in BSc in Nursing Degree Programe (First batch in Sri Lanka) and obtained Second Class Upper Division Honours for his first degree. Then, he has jointed to Faculty of Health Sciences, Eastern University, Sri Lankan as an academic (From 2011-2019). Professor G Kisokanth received his postgraduate qualifications such as PG Certificate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Colombo; and PhD in Community Medicine from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. At present, he serves the University of Colombo as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing.<\/p>\n

During Professor Kisokanth\u2019s tenure in the Eastern University, Sri Lanka, he was appointed to various Academic as well as Administrative positions. He has served as the academic sub-warden, student counselor, Coordinator of the BSc Nursing External Degree Programme and Member of Ethic Review Committee, Faculty of Health Care Sciences.<\/p>\n

Professor Kisokanth\u2019s expertise includes Diabetes Nurse Case management and Diabetes Education. He has published a books on \u201cDiabetes and Society\u2019 in Tamil and numerous research articles in local and internationally reputed journals.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
