Ms. Nisansala’s educational journey began when she embarked on her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Special) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, which she successfully completed in 2014. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Nisansala began her professional journey as a Demonstrator at the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Her commitment to professional growth and her dedication to nursing education were evident when she assumed a Lecturer role at the Open University of Sri Lanka in August 2015. In this position, she imparted her knowledge and expertise to aspiring nurses, helping them develop the skills and knowledge required to excel in the healthcare field. This role allowed her to influence the next generation of healthcare professionals. In June 2017, Ms. Nisansala took on a new challenge as a Lecturer at the Department of Nursing within the Faculty of Nursing at KIU. Her teaching career continued to flourish, and she contributed significantly to the nursing education community, guiding and inspiring her students. Her dedication to academic excellence led her to pursue a Master of Philosophy degree, which she successfully completed at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2022.\u00a0 In February 2023, she reached a new milestone in her career by assuming the role of a Senior Lecturer (Grade II) at the Department of Nursing Education within the Faculty of Nursing at KIU. This role marked her growing influence in the field of nursing education, where she continued to impact the curriculum and shape the future of nursing.<\/p>\n
Ms. Nisansala currently serving as a Senior Lecturer (Grade II) at the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, University of Colombo since July 2023.<\/p>\n
