Dr. Mannapperuma joined the Department of Pharmacology in the year 2006 as a Temporary Lecturer and as a Lecturer from 2007. In 2009 she received the Thailand International Corporation Agency Scholarship to follow the Masters in Science Programme in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, Thailand. In 2018 she obtained her PhD from the University of Colombo. She is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer (Grade I).
