The comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is probably a naked eye comet in mid October 2024. This comet is an easy target for a small telescope or a binocular. The comet is visible at about 15 degrees above the eastern horizon before the sun rises . The comet becomes an evening comet after October 12, 2024, with a closest approach to the Earth on the same day. From 12th October 2024, the comet may be visible to the naked eye at an altitude of 25 degrees in the western horizon after sunset. The following sky charts show the location of the comet.
