Dr Kumarangie K. Vithanage

Dr Kumarangie Vithanage graduated from the Colombo Medical faculty in 2006 with Second Upper and distinction in biochemistry winning MVP Peiris Gold Medal for Surgery in final MBBS.  She joined the department of Physiology in 2014 as lecturer in Physiology, and completed her MD in the PGIM, University of Colombo in 2013 and the MRCP(UK) in 2017. In 2017, having completed postgraduate training overseas in Neurology, she was board certified as a specialist consultant in Neurology.  Dr Vithanage has several publications in peer-reviewed journals  and numerous abstracts.
