This is a plate designed according to the local research that he has conducted in Sri Lanka. The objectives of this invention were, to encourage balanced meals and weight maintenance in normal weight adults; to reduce body weight in overweight and obesity adults and to reduce the prevalence of obesity associated non-communicable diseases.  His request (application no: 18598, 11thDecember, 2015) for the patent is still under review at the National Intellectual Property office of Sri Lanka.
