  • Member of the research team on “Gender Integration in Cooperative Society Movement in Sri Lanka funded by The National Cooperative Council (NCC) Sri Lanka in 2018.
  • Conducted a research on “New Dynamics of Ethnic Conflict in Post-War Sri Lanka: A Study of the Role of International Community in Reconciliation Process” (from 2014 to 2016) as a part of my MA degree under the supervision of Dr. Ajith Balasooriya (Senior Lecturer, Department of International Relations, University of Colombo).
  • Conducted a research of “Inner Party Democracy – A case study of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and the United National Party” (2012), under the supervision of Prof. Jayadewa Uyangoda (Senior Professor, Department of Political Science & Public Policy, and University of Colombo). An unpublished thesis submitted to University of Colombo as a part of my undergraduate thesis.
  • Worked as a Research Assistant to Mahesh Senanayake, Senior Lecturer, Department of Political Science & Public Policy, and University of Colombo, on “Understanding on Good Governance and Its Practices in Decision & Policy Making Process in Local Government Authorities” in Colombo, Gampaha and Kaluthara Districts in 2015.
  • Worked as a Research Assistant to Ms. Shanthi Hettiarachchi, Senior Lecturer, University of Sabaragamuwa, a PhD Candidate, University of Kelee, UK on “Gender Mainstreaming in the Post-Conflict Reconstruction Process in Sri Lanka: A critical analysis” in 2016.
  • Worked as a Research Consultant to the Social Scientists’ Association (SSA) for a period of six months, from August 2014 to January 2015.
  • Worked as a research assistant to Ms. G. P. V. R. D. Silva, Senior Lecturer, Department of Political Science & Public Policy, University of Colombo) on Goddess Paththini Devotion: A Public Opinion Survey, (2013) in Nawagamuwa.
  • Worked as a research assistant to Ms. G. P. V. R. D. Silva, Senior Lecturer, Department of Political Science & Public Policy, University of Colombo on Political Participation of the Indigenous People in Sri Lanka (2013)  in Mahiyanganaya.
  • Participated as Resource Person to Annual Field Research (in Polonnaruwa) of the Department of Political Science and Public Policy, University of Colombo, 2014,
  • Participated as Resource Person to Annual Field Research (in Bandarawela) of the Department of Political Science and Public Policy, University of Colombo, 2015,
  • Conducted a research on “Consolidation of Economic Reconciliation in Post-War Sri Lanka from 2009 – 2014: A Case Study of Northern Province” (2014). Field works were carried out in the Districts of Kilinochchi, Mulathiv and Vavuniya. A paper was presented and published in the International Symposium of University of Colombo, December, 2015.
  • Conducted a research on “Question of Forgiveness: Theological Perspective on the Process of Reconciliation in Post – War Sri Lanka” (2014).
  • Field works were carried out in Universities of Colombo, Sri Jayawardhanapura and Kelaniya. Presented a paper based on this research and published a full paper at the Annual Symposium of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo, October, 2015.
  • Conducted a research on “Right to health facilities of prisoners – The case study based on the Welikada Remand Prison”, (2013). A paper was presented and published in the International Symposium of Center for Women Studies Centre (CENWOR), December, 2014
  • Conducted a research on “Reconciliation Process and Public Opinion in Post-War Sri Lanka: A case study on University of Colombo”, (2014). A paper was presented and published in the International Symposium of the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo, December, 2014.
