Roshel Perera<\/strong> is a Lecturer at the Department of Public and International Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He is also an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. His teaching and research focus on Public International Law, Environmental Law, Law of the Sea, Air and Space Law, and Geospatial Law. Roshel is currently reading for a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at the University of Colombo, where his research examines maritime boundary delimitation and seabed governance, with particular reference to extended continental shelf claims in the Indian Ocean region.<\/p>\n In addition to his academic work, he serves as a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Environmental Law and Policy (CELP), University of Colombo, where he contributes to multidisciplinary research, public engagement, and legal outreach initiatives on environmental justice and sustainability. His research has been presented and published in national and international forums, addressing issues such as environmental impact assessment, marine conservation, and human rights in Sri Lanka.
