Prof. Eranga Wijewickrama is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. He graduated from the university of Colombo in 2002 with second class upper honors.

His research interests include Venom induced acute kidney injury and thrombotic microangiopathy, Chronic Kidney Disease of uncertain aetiology (CKDu) in Sri Lanka.
