Ms.Dianarthy Suthakar holds a Master of Laws degree from Faculty of Law, University of Colombo Sri Lanka, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Department of Law, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She is also an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. She is a recipient of the Diploma in Human Resource Management from the LBS, Sri Lanka. She is also a recipient of the Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE) with SEDA accreditation.
She is currently attached to the Department of Commercial Law, Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Before joining the Department of Commercial Law, she was a lecturer at the Department of Law, University Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
Currently, she teaches Company Law, Intellectual property law, Business Law and Tax Law. Her research interests include corporate, consumer protection and competition, information technology law, taxation, the law relating to marriage and divorce, and thesawalamai.
