P. M. Ayomi, currently serves as the Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade I) of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo, Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka.
Mrs. Ayomi obtained B. A special (Honors) degree in Library and Information Science in 2001 University of Kelaniya and MSSc (Master of Library and Information Science) in 2007 at the same University. She worked at the Attorney General’s Department Library from 1999 to 2009 as the Librarian. She joined the Institute of Indigenous Medicine on February 16.02.2009 as an Assistant Librarian and got a promotion in 2014 to Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade II). Since 2020, she is working as Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade I) at the Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo. Since 01 March 2023, she has been working as the Senior Assistant Librarian at the faculty of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo.
