BIOGRAPHY

Dr. J.I.D. Diddeniya completed her secondary education in Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo and entered to Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo in 2013. During her undergraduate study period she was awarded the OMSF prize for the best results consecutively for four years by obtaining the highest marks in first and second end semester examinations.

In 2021 she completed the Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree with a First class honors pass.

She was awarded with Dr. Pandith K.G.P. Jayatilaka Memorial Gold Medal for the excellent overall performance in academic studies, sportsmanship and interest in aesthetic and cultural activities, proven leadership, exemplary conduct and character during the academic period in the University.

After the completion of internship period, she worked as a Temporary Demonstrator in the Unit of Dravyaguna Vignana from 2020 – 2021.

Currently she works as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Unit of Kayachikitsa since 09th December 2021.
