Mr. Ruwan Kohombakanda entered the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2011 as an undergraduate. During the internship period, he worked in the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. After graduation, he joined with Department of Information Technology, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura as a Temporary Tutor and worked for two years there. After He joined with Institute of Indigenous Medicine as an Instructor in Computer Technology in 2017. Mr.Ruwan Kohombakanda received his postgraduate qualifications: Master in Information System Management from the University of Colombo. In addition, he completed a Certificate in Banking Finance (CBF) (IBSL).
He serves the University of Colombo as a Computer Instructor in the Information Technology Unit at present and doing IT theory and practical sessions for students. In addition to that He is the main Web and Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, Academic Profile Administrator, Domain Email Administrator, and Journal Site, Administrator. Furthermore, he is a member of the Web and IT committee at the University of Colombo. And also, he represents many Technical Evaluation Committees in the Institute of Indigenous Medicine (IIM) and Post Graduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine (PgIIM).
