Nelka Sriwarnasinghe is working as a Course Coordinator at the Department of Agro-technology, University of Colombo Institute for Agro-technology and Rural Sciences, Weligatta, Hambantota since 2011. She graduated with BSc in Agriculture (Hons) in 2010 and completed her Masters with a Master of Agriculture Economics and Development in 2016 from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. Currently, she is following her Ph.D. research studies at the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo since 2019.
She began her professional carrier as an Assistant Course Coordinator in 2010 and then became a Course Coordinator in 2011 at the Department of Agro-technology, UCIARS. She was the In-charge of the Diploma and Higher Diploma of Agro-technology program which is conducting via blended learning mode for the farming community in Sri Lanka from 2011-2013.
