Krishan Siriwardhana is a lecturer attached to the Journalism Unit of the University of Colombo. Krishan has a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from Ball State University, USA and holds a BA in Media Studies from the University of Colombo. Prior to joining the University of Colombo, Krishan worked as the Team Leader of the Communications programme at the Centre for Poverty Analysis (CEPA). Krishan has conducted research in the areas of media framing, new media discourses, presidential rhetoric and youth and radicalization,.
