BIOGRAPHY

S.G.N.C Senanayake currently serves as an Assistant Librarian at the Main Library, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Mr. Senanayake obtained B.A. Special (Honours) degree in Geography from the University of Colombo. Immediately after passing out, he joined the Computer Teaching Unit, Faculty of Arts, the University of Colombo as a Computer Instructor from 2017 to 2019. He has successfully completed Master in Information Systems Management (MISM) at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo 2021 (Pass with Merit).

He joined the University of Colombo, Main Library as an Assistant Librarian in November 2020. His current research interests are in the areas of Library Information Systems, Management Information Systems, GIS and Remote Sensing, Rural Development, Education and ICT for Development.
