Dr. Romaine Jayewardene
Dr. D. Romaine Jayewardene received her primary, junior secondary and senior secondary education at Ladies’ College, Colombo.
She entered the University of Colombo as an undergraduate in 1982 and graduated with a Special Degree in Mathematics, First Class Honours in 1996.
She did her postgraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University USA, and obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1995.
She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, University of Colombo.
