- Participated in numerous staff training workshops/sessions in the Faculty of management, University of Sri Jayawardhanapura, National Hospital Sri Lanka and Navy Hospital, Welisara, De Soyza Maternity Hospital and Post Basic School of Nursing, Colombo on Psychosocial Work and Counseling.
- Participated in consultation meetings and training programmes on ‘Palliative care and End of Life Care’ for the medical professionals conducted by the Sri Lanka Medical Association.
- Participated in the consultation meetings on Curricular Development in Diploma and Higher Diploma in Counseling Psychology, Institute of Human Resource Advancement, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and National Institute of Social Development, Sri Lanka.
- Participated in the consultation meeting on Mental Health Issues in Sri Lanka conducted by the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka.
- Participated in the workshop on Career Opportunities for Sociology conducted by the Department of Sociology, University of Colombo and Department of Social Sciences, University of Belihuloya.
- Participated in the “International Training Course on Drug Counseling & Rehabilitation” conducted by the National Institute of Social Development, Sri Lanka.
- Working in the multidisciplinary team in the University Psychiatry Unit, National Hospital Sri Lanka (NHSL) and doing psychosocial assessments of people coming to this unit for treatment and other different services for their mental health problems (since 2001)
