Dr. A.D.M. Anuradha Herath

Dr.A.D.M.Anuradha Herath is a Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry, attached to the department of psychiatry, University of Colombo. She also serves as the honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children. She completed her advanced training in child and adolescent psychiatry and was board certified as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in 2017.
She is a member of Sri Lanka medical association and Sri Lanka college of psychiatry and served as the chairperson of subcommittee in child and adolescent psychiatry from 2023 to 2024.
She is a member of technical advisory committee for young person’s health (2023-2025), a member of national committee for early childhood development (2023-2025) and a member of national coordinating committee for school health (2023-2025) at Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka.
She is also experienced in medical undergraduate and postgraduate training.
Her interests include adolescent and youth mental health, eating disorders and school mental health.
