Mr. Kaveera Senanayake is a Lecturer (Probationary) in Physiotherapy at the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. He obtained his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy with First Class Honours in 2021. Following his graduation, he worked as a sports and orthopedic physiotherapist at Kings Hospital, Colombo 05, Sri Lanka. He joined the Department of Allied Health Sciences as an Assistant Lecturer in Physiotherapy in May 2023 and was promoted to Lecturer (Probationary) in October 2023. Currently, he serves as the Convenor of the Basic Sciences Stream and the DAHS representative for the International Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.

His research interests focus primarily on sports injury prevention, ankle and foot rehabilitation, and balance assessment methods.
