  Prof Zef Ibrahim award for the best paper in Tropical Paediatrics was awarded at the Annual Scientific Congress of the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians in 2016 for the paper titiled ``Can Vitamin E supplementation modify the outcome of Dengue Fever and Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever in children?``
