Undergraduate
- Actively involved in the various teaching activities of the Faculty of Medicine, Colombo.
- Bedside clinical teaching of small groups of students: Average 16 hours of student contact per week
- Preparing and conducting lectures, interactive learning sessions including clinical lecture demonstrations (CLD)
- Facilitating small group teaching activities; Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sessions, Small Group Discussions (SGDs)
- Preparation learning / teaching material, triggers for problem based sessions
- Experience in teaching medical students on ethical principles, breaking bad news, communication skills
- Training of medical students on a variety of clinical skills, ward and surgical procedures, etc
- Organizing and conducting written, clinical, oral and practical (OSCE and OSPE) examinations
- Setting of examination questions for undergraduate medical examinations in the Faculty of Medicine, the all-university common ranking examination for appointment of intern medical officers, and the qualifying examination (ERPM) for overseas qualified doctors
