Dr. Wathsala Hathagoda

Dr Wathsala Hathagoda graduated from the University of Kelaniya with second-class honors in 2011 and obtained an MD in Pediatrics in 2019. She also received post-graduate General Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology training at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals, United Kingdom. Currently, Dr Hathagoda works as an Honorary Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, and she is also a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Her research interests are Paediatric Inflammatory bowel disease and functional gastrointestinal disorders in children.
