M.A.A. Nayanamali obtained her primary education from Giri/ Wickramashila National school (1999-2009) and secondary education from Ch/ Wen Girls’ college, Dankotuwa (2010-2013), before she entered the university of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2014. She earned her Bsc (Hons) in Nursing with second class upper division honours from the university of Peradeniya in 2018. She joined Center for Research, National hospital, Kandy as a research assistant in 2019. She has engaged in many researches on CKDu and lupus nephritis. Recently she is reading her M.phil on the role of magnesium homeostasis in the causation of adverse health effects in CKDu, Sri Lanka (from 2021) at the faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya. At present she is working as a lecturer (probationary) in the Department of Fundamental Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, University of Colombo.
