Sathiyaseelan Janani, is a Lecturer (Probationary) of the Department of Private and Comparative Law, Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. She completed her Master of Laws Examination in 2021, by obtaining a Merit Pass, and also obtained her Degree of Bachelor of Laws in 2018 with Second Class Honours(Upper Division).
She joined the Department as a Temporary (Assistant) Lecture in 2019 and selected be served as a Lecturer (Probationary) by the end of 2020. She was admitted and enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law in 2020.
Her main areas of research include the Private International aspect of Employment Law and Information Technology Law.
