BIOGRAPHY

Shanil Wijesinha is currently attached to the Department of Private and Comparative Law. His research interests include constitutional law, human rights law, and the judicial process.

Prior to joining the Faculty, he was a Research Fellow and Legal Consultant for the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law. He has qualified as an Attorney-at-law of Sri Lanka, and has experience engaging in litigation and arbitration, contract drafting and negotiations, and work relating to construction law.
