BIOGRAPHY

Shermila Antony is attached to the Department of Private and Comparative Law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

She joined the faculty in 2002 as a visiting lecturer and has taught several courses including Human Rights Law, Constitutional Law, Legal Systems in Sri Lanka and Administrative Law. Her current research interests include women and work, work-family conflict, gender studies and labour migration.
