Thilini R. Galappaththige is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public and International Law, of the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. She is a Co-academic Coordinator of the LL.B Programme. Ms. Galappaththige obtained her Dual Master’s Degree jointly offered by the UN Mandated University for Peace (Cost Rica) and the Ateneo De Manila University (Philippines) under the Asian Peacebuilders Scholarship. She is also a SEDA qualified teacher in Higher Education. Her research interests include Human Rights Protection Systems, Women and Human Rights, Constitutional Law, Democracy and Governance, Criminal Law, and Buddhism and Law.
