BIOGRAPHY

Rajendran Pavithra is a Lecturer (Probationary) attached to the Department of Public and International Law, Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. She has completed her Bachelor of Laws degree with Second class (Hons.) in 2018 at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. After completing her degree, she started her career as an intern at the Centre for the Study of Human Rights, one of the leading human rights academic institutes of Sri Lanka. Subsequently, she passed Attorney-at-Law final year examination with second class (Hons) and enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law in the year 2019. She was promoted as an Assistant Project Coordinator at the Centre for the Study of Human Rights. She has participated in various researchers projects and publication-related matters in the fields of Human rights and Laws. Now she is reading for her Masters in Law in Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. Currently, she teaches Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, Environmental Law and Evidence and Criminal Procedure for undergraduate students of the Faculty. She is one of the resource persons for other law-related courses conducted by reputed academic institutes attached to the University of Colombo.
