  • Study the genetic inheritance of rice thrips (Stenchaetothrips biformis) resistance in traditional Sri Lankan rice cultivar ‘Dahanala’. A collaborative research project with plant genetic resource center, Gannoruwa, Sri Lanka.
  • Characterization of Rvi5 (Vm) apple scab resistance gene using genetically modified scab susceptible ‘Gala’ plants. A collaborative research project with Fondazione Edmund Mach, San Michele All’adige, Trento, Italy.
