BIOGRAPHY

Shabnam Johoran, currently serves as a Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade II) at the Main Library, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Ms.  Johoran graduated from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka with Honours for BSc. Business Management degree in 2013. She joined the workforce of Uva Wellassa University in year 2014 as an Assistant Librarian on contract basis and served the university for a period of 2 years and 9 months.

In April 2017, she joined University of Colombo as an Assistant Librarian. Her research interest is in the area of Library Marketing. She has obtained a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, at National Institute of Library & Information Sciences (NILIS).
