Kasun Perera received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from the University of Colombo with a First-Class Honors in 2015. He received his Master of Business Administration in Finance degree from the University of Colombo in 2019. Kasun has joined the Department of Finance, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, in 2015, and he is currently reading for his Doctor of Philosophy in Finance at the University of Otago, New Zealand.
